Psilocybin Services
-
Psilocybin-assisted therapy is the therapeutic use of psilocybin mushrooms that includes a facilitated psilocybin journey and preparation and integration support on either side. Individuals enter into psilocybin-assisted therapy with a personal intention related to emotional or physical healing or personal growth, and are guided every step of the way by a trained therapist or facilitator.
-
Yes, following the passing of Proposition 122, psilocybin therapy in Colorado is now a regulated practice. Guided psilocybin mushroom sessions must take place in licensed Colorado healing centers (like Reflective Healing Center), using state-regulated mushroom products, and administered by a licensed facilitator.
-
When administered in a safe setting by trained professionals and with psychological support, clinical studies show that psilocybin mushrooms have a favorable safety profile. Psilocybin has a very low risk of addiction and fatal overdose. Any adverse effects, such as nausea or headache, usually clear within 1-2 days.
-
Psilocybin therapy can help treat mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and end-of-life distress. It is also shown to potentially treat chronic pain and cluster headaches. Studies also indicate that psilocybin therapy may be supportive in helping individuals overcome addictions, such as to alcohol or tobacco. Discover more on our Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy page.
-
The first step to accessing psilocybin therapy at our Colorado healing center is to fill out our interest form to help determine your readiness and goals for psilocybin therapy. Then, one of our facilitators will get in touch with you to schedule an initial consultation. If you pass the screening, you’ll work with your facilitator to prepare and establish your intentions through either online or in-person preparation sessions.
When you and your facilitator agree you are ready, you’ll schedule the guided psilocybin journey at our center in Fort Collins. Following the journey, you will work on integration in further online or in-person sessions with your facilitator. You are required to book at least one preparation and one integration session as part of psilocybin therapy according to Colorado law, but your facilitator may recommend doing more sessions depending on your unique needs and goals.

The general range for psilocybin mushroom therapy at Reflective Healing Center is between $800-$2,500, and includes the psilocybin journey and one integration session. This is an estimated range as each provider determines their own pricing – with many offering sliding scale based on the Green Bottle model – and they will discuss this with you in your consultation session.
-
Yes, clients can come from outside of Colorado for their psilocybin journey. If you are working with a provider who is a licensed mental health professional in Colorado, you will also have to complete your preparation and integration sessions while in Colorado. Non-clinical facilitators and licensed professionals in other states can provide preparation and integration support while you are based elsewhere.
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy
-
Ketamine-assisted therapy is a mental health treatment that combines taking a prescribed dose of ketamine with therapeutic guidance and support. Clients may experience a dream-like, dissociative state where they are able to explore their inner world and process psychological material under the guidance of a trained therapist. Studies show KAP’s effectiveness in helping to treat mental health conditions like depression and PTSD.

-
Yes, ketamine therapy is legal in Colorado when administered by a licensed professional in a clinical setting.
-
Yes, ketamine therapy can support individuals seeking relief from depression when combined with ongoing therapeutic support. Ketamine therapy has the unique ability to break up or pause negative thought cycles and increase brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and neuroplasticity in the brain, providing relief from depressive symptoms and a window of opportunity to enact meaningful change post-session.
-
Depending on what you are seeking to treat with ketamine therapy and your symptoms, your provider will recommend starting with an initial course of several sessions. Research indicates that multiple sessions over a period of weeks are best at providing symptom relief for mental health conditions. For depression, for example, this usually looks like beginning with a series of six to eight sessions over a few-month period.
-
Your first step is to book a 30-minute consultation through our contact form. Then, if your provider determines you are a good fit, you will undergo three to six talk therapy sessions to prepare for the ketamine treatment. You’ll consult with a nurse practitioner or psychiatrist in our network and be given instructions to pick up your ketamine prescription in the form of an oral lozenge. You will then undergo your ketamine sessions with follow-up integration sessions after each one to help deepen insights and emotional healing. This focus on deep preparation and integration is what sets Reflective Healing Center apart from other ketamine clinics in Colorado.
-
Our providers set their own price for ketamine sessions, which are usually within the range of $300-$550 per session.
