Supervision & Consultation

Advice and Support for Practicing Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy and Opening a Private Practice.

Meet Dori.

I’ve been where you are and had tremendous support and mentorship along the way to help me get to where I am. Now, I work with mental health professionals who are looking for supervision or to start, scale or maintain their areas of passion, without suffering from loneliness, imposter syndrome, or burnout.

Consulting can make all the difference.

Whether you’re looking to prevent burnout, set boundaries, grow your practice, or specialize in a new area of expertise, there is one area that often gets overlooked: the value of consulting with and receiving supervision from a professional in your field. A consultant provides wisdom from a person who has been where you are now.

  • Identifying and addressing areas of weakness or opportunity

  • Setting and reaching goals for yourself and your business

  • Troubleshooting on cases

  • Case consulting and session supervision

  • Guidance on opening a private practice

  • Information on how to become a trained psychedelic-assisted therapist

  • Addressing sex-related questions while staying within the scope of your practice.

Being a mental health practitioner can feel lonely; having support and guidance from a consultant can help you maintain proper ethics and receive necessary oversight from a skilled professional.

Psychedelic Assisted Therapy Consulting

As the owner of a psychedelic counseling practice in Fort Collins, I’ve had my share of growing opportunities. Now, I offer support and guidance to other counselors who are looking to enter the budding space of psychedelics in mental health, build a successful private therapy practice, or are seeking mentorship for their existing psychedelic practice.

Psychedelic-assisted therapy consulting is for trained mental health professionals that are looking to:

  • Add psychedelic-assisted therapy as an offering to their existing practice.

  • Help clients process and integrate positive and negative psychedelic experiences.

  • Have psychedelic therapy supervision.

  • Maintain ethical and supportive psychedelic therapy practices.

Starting Your Own Practice

I started Reflective Healing in 2018, and have successfully grown my business and added dynamic practitioners to the Reflective Healing team. If you’re considering starting your own practice, or have a practice that you would like to strengthen or scale, consulting can be the catalyst your business needs.

Learn the ins and outs of building your practice. Things that may seem simple –  like which forms you’re required to use, which scheduling platform to buy, finding the right insurance, or gaining clients –  begin to build up when you’re at the helm. Together, we’ll figure out what needs to happen logistically to build a strong foundation for your practice.

Feel empowered and confident in your methodology. Losing the traditional structure of working as an employee has abundant perks, but working alone can feel isolating or lonely. Having an extra ear that can help you troubleshoot cases, learn best practices, find areas of opportunity, or practice case conceptualization is a crucial investment in your own mental health.

Clinical Supervision

30mins - $110 | 60mins - $200

Clinical supervision is an essential component of professional development for Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs).

Clinical supervision provides an opportunity for LPCs to reflect on their clinical work, receive guidance and feedback on their skills, and enhance their professional competence.

Regular clinical supervision allows LPCs to discuss challenging cases, receive feedback on their clinical interventions, and gain insight into their own biases and limitations. This helps to ensure that LPCs are providing the best possible care to their clients and that they are adhering to the ethical and legal standards of their profession.

This clinical supervision is for you if:

  • You are an LPCC in need of DORA-required supervision for licensure

  • Looking for PDA hours for LPC licensure renewal

*Professional Development Activity (PDA) hours are required during your 2-year renewal cycle as an LPC
